Are you pro-life or pro-choice? One of the heavily debated topics going around this country is should mothers and parents be able to have the choice or not to keep their unborn child. This debate has plenty of support for both if its arguments but which side is truly the best decision? A 2014 study shown by the Center for Disease Control and Prevention said that women 15-19 gave birth to 249,078 babies. There are a lot of women out there that are very young and do not have the finances to raise a child. I strongly believe that this does not give women the right to have an abortion and end the life of a human being. There are no limits as to what that life form could amount to. Each and every person has special traits and characteristics that make them how they are, and it would be a shame to take away someone’s chance at being special.
The main argument here is that women would not be able to successfully care for their child, but there are thousands of couples in this country that are unable to have children and would love to have the opportunity. There are many things that go into having a child and it can make your life more challenging. But at the end of the day, that unborn child is still one of us. It is a human being that has the same rights and everyone else. Some have considered apportion as murder and they may be too extreme, but there is still a life there. No matter how far along in the process that unborn child is, it is still living and has the just as much freedom as someone that has lived on this earth for 100 years. If I were that unborn child in my mother’s womb, I would wish for my life to be spared. Even if the odds were against me, I would still be thankful for my life. I feel that each and every one of us should be thankful for our lives as well. Because at some point before we were born, our mothers had the decision to let us live or die, and that is where loved stepped in and gave us life.
