We need to end this

Posted in Forum Post

We never realize the privilege we have throughout our lives. We only become envious and greedy. We do not accept our smallest gifts as gratefulness and accept the gifts as granted. The world we live in may not be perfect nor as happy as we hope. Although, we are not in the same situation as those who are experiencing modern slavery. Slavery has not ended and is still occurring to this present day not just in America but all over the world. This  is a serious crime, human trafficking is being supported by criminals because it is one of the most profitable criminal activity. Human trafficking starts from children to adults. Young children and adults are captured by traffickers and sold. Human trafficking is separated into two forms. Sexual trafficking is one form of  human trafficking. It is revealed of being raped and physically tortured. Sexual trafficking is emphasized more to young children and women. Labor trafficking is another form and is manifested through forced and tortured labor. Throughout both forms of trafficking victims of human trafficking are left to starve and threatened. There has been groups created to stop this nonsense. Although human trafficking has not ended yet because it has been exposed too widely over the world. There is a desperate necessity needed to bring an end to this modern slavery. The only people to stop this is us. God has created us. These victims are just as special as we are. They have the right to not go through this torture as sons and daughters of Christ. We are all one family we need to do as it is written in Proverbs 31:8-9 “Open your mouth for the mute, for the rights of all who are destitute. Open your mouth, judge righteously, defend the rights of the poor and needy.” There is empathy needed towards these humans who are suffering undesired torture. What if we were the ones being tortured? What if are beloved ones were in experiencing human trafficking? What would we do? We would never just stand there and watch. Human trafficking needs to end!
